A Little Poetry

I'm sorry my dears, but I've been down with the flu, and now I'm extremely busy with midterm grading.

To pass the time, here is Mayor Knobbottle reciting one of my favorite poems by Edith Sitwell, from Facade:

"For hell is just as properly proper,
As Greenwich, or as Bath, or Joppa."

  1. Speaking about "poetry", especially since you try to transkribe Mohandas Ghandi correctly, I think you should try to get Dag Hammarskjöld right.

It's Hammar-skjöld, Hammer-shield, an allegoric name from 1610 after the fashion of Emperor Rudolf in Prague.

    Please!

Skjold on the other hand is a Norwegian spelling.
