The Empire Goes Broke.
It is remarkable that in bad economic times, state and city governments must cut back services at the very time when they are needed most.
Who's willing to bet that we'll pull the plug on the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and start closing bases, because we can't pay for them anymore? The Empire ends with bankruptcy.
