Jon Stewart, Tribune of the People

"These guys went on a Sherman's March through their companies with our 401k money... They burned the fuckin' house down and walked away rich as hell."

This is very much worth watching.  Stewart confronts Jim Cramer of CNBC for not doing his job as a journalist, and for being a willing butt boy for the Masters of the Universe.

  1. That was one of the most magnificent humiliations that I've ever seen on the tee-vee. What a moment! The comedian conquers again. Who was it that he slapped down the other time? Was it Paul Begala and the pipsqueak with the friggin' bow tie Tucker Carlson?

  2. And what a sad commentary it is on the news bidness that it takes a comedian to show them how to do their jobs.

  3. While I was watching it the other night, I kept thinking the same thing. Why aren't the "real" news people doing this type of thing? Might they be beholden to their corporate owners? NBC=General Electric, ABC=Disney, CNN=Time Warner, CBS=Viacom. Just asking.
