Henry Gibson 1935 - 2009

Most people will remember him for his stints on Laugh In, but I will remember him for his brilliant performance as a right wing country-western star in Robert Altman's Nashville. He wrote and performed his own music for that part.

  1. Oh, so sad. I too loved his role in Nashville! It was more than loosely based on Hank Snow, a Canadian who came to Nashville and made it big. Very strange man.
