"The First Amendment Issue of Our Time" -- Net Neutrality

Here is Senator Al Franken speaking on that very issue to the Netroots Nation convention in Las Vegas. I apologize for the crappy quality of this, though the sound is perfectly sound. It's hard to find video of Al Franken speaking on YouTube that does not come through the filter of Fox News (speaking of net neutrality). C-Span's coverage of this speech has yet to appear on YouTube. This is a portion of a much longer speech, all of which is very good.

He speaks quite clearly about the consequences for democracy and free speech of an unlimited corporate plutocracy.

I think Stuart Smalley is right on here.

"With Liberty and Justice for those who can pay for it!"
