... by blowing up a small piece of it, as well as your eyes and fingers.





Illegal fireworks with names that suggest certain sex acts




"Pyro" and "punk," words that suggest a lot of our boyhoods (and girlhoods).


Play safe today and make sure there's an adult, or someone more emotionally mature than you, to supervise.

The NYPD is on double-down fireworks patrol this year.  So far, the neighborhood is quiet.  Last year, it sounded like Beirut in the 1970s.

Where fireworks are outlawed, only outlaws have fireworks.
