What I think is so remarkable about this chart is not the disparity between the West and much of Africa and the Middle East, but that there is 4% of the survey sample population in Uganda willing to answer in the affirmative; or even 1% in very gay-hostile Nigeria; or 4% in Palestine, 3% in Egypt, 3% in Jordan, that anyone in a Muslim country would be willing to say yes. That, I think, is amazing. Ten years ago, I would imagine those percentages would have been more like .01%.
