Just to be clear, though I agree with Joe Sacco, I still think this is a free speech issue.  The whole point of the attack was to intimidate; and it may well be successful in that aim.

    1 ) i would dearly love to slap Mr Fischer's left cheek. Hard. And once we're at it and he claims to be a christian, his right cheek too.

    2) It is just a matter of time, or the christian right will align with the jihad to attack anyone or anything they both hate. Saying 'tut tut' whev=never another christian community is massacred, of course.
