She was a strong woman when it wasn't fashionable, and a great singer and entertainer. I loved her voice and who she was - she truly will be missed by so many of us.

ReplyDeleteI was so surprised to hear how old she was at her death, 92. I always thought of her as young and beautiful or mature and fascinating, but never old.
