I love Montreal. I'd happily live there if it wasn't for the winters, and that my French is really wretched and at the level of an infant (and not a very bright one).
Doug, happy Canada day from Toronto: not as beautiful as Montreal, but the winters are slightly warmer. (Damning with faint praise?) French is seldom required, but you might want to brush up on your Cantonese or Urdu or Portugese or whatever.
Nice to have July 1 & July 4 juxtaposed so as to celebrate my two countries on the same weekend. Happy July 4th to you.
I love Canada! We vacation there as often as we can. From the wonders of Stratford to the wilds of the natural world in the West it is always one of my favorite places to visit. :-)
