Our Adventure in Maritime Canada

Michael and I on formal night on the ship

Our very tacky ship

A fog bank rolling in somewhere out in the North Atlantic. We had surprisingly smooth seas, and some beautiful scenery out at sea. I saw a splendid moon rise off the coast of Nova Scotia, a brilliant orange moon rising into a starry sky.

Michael at the Citadel in Halifax. He looks tired. It was a long tour.

The Saint John River running backward as high tide rolls in from the Bay of Fundy.

Amazingly lush begonias in a park in St. John. They had a lot of rain this year.

Michael on a park bench in St. John.

The outer harbor in Halifax.

Michael enjoying a smoke.

Michael took all the scenery shots that you see here.

Whoo-hoo! Two hotties!

I like Halifax. It's a nice small city. We've been there three times, I think. I remember the gorgeous flowers.
We did the harbor tour and got the stories of the two disasters, but we did not go to the Titanic cemetery. After what you say, I'm glad we didn't take the time.

Ah, yes, Carnival.
The decor of some of their ships is so tacky that it becomes beautiful.
(I've been on three Carnival ships: Carnivale, Destiny and Paradise.)
