Public Opinion has bugger-all to do with it. All said and done, it comes down to two or three, bought and paid for, cash-wallowing, DINO senators. The Public Option is going to go down the garbage chute on the votes of even fewer people than the five who elected Bush in 2000. A few years back, when the Republicans held the whip hand in the Senate, we heard a lot about the "Nuclear Option" - abolishing the filibuster, an action that could be taken by majority vote. How come - apart from the fact that the Democrats, as ever, have no f-cking balls - we haven't heard a peep out of them about this approach to passing the Public Option?

You may be right, Rabbit, but I hope you're wrong.
Lets still hope and pray! This is too important to just drop.
