canon g said...: I was a priest in the diocese of Wyoming but left four years before this happened. At a later General Convention when I was a delegate, we wore buttons that said: "I remember Matthew Shepherd." Matthew's parish priest who did his funeral said to me "I really remember Matthew Shepherd." The not so nice folk from Kansas were at the funeral. They were also at that General Convention. We were told to ignore them but I couldn't help myself. I went over to one and whispered something in his ear.; October 29, 2009 at 10:16 AM
