As I talked about over at MP's (see today's prayer thread), I yesterday experienced the "withering of the state" that the Teabagger crowd want (it involves THEIR State Ownership of MY uterus).
I've often found such people countering me by saying that reproductive rights were not individual because they affected the society as a whole.
I find it generally silences them to suggest that society as whole should be allowed, then, to vote on who may get pregnant, carry the pregnancy to term or keep their child - after all, it is a public concern.
