Someone Who I Really Will Miss
The things of childhood don't last forever, but that knowledge does nothing to make their loss any easier. I'm sorry to see this childhood crush of mine go.
No the Monkees aren't playing their own instruments and never could, but who cares.
Mike Nesmith could. He also wrote songs that the Monkees recorded and went on to be a respected singer/songwriter and champion of American roots music.

So could Peter Tork. I loved them cause they were fun, and I loved the bubble gum music they created.
