Very uncharitable and unchristian of me, but I'm as glad to see the end of Fred Phelps as I was to see the end of Osama Bin Laden.Judy Shepard is indeed the soul of grace and courage (and she has far more grace than I do).I would imagine that if Matthew met Fred in the Great Beyond, he'd kick Fred in the nuts.
I think your graphic post is perfect. These are the people we should remember now and not waste attention on that miserable, hate-filled man.
