Prognostication of the Day

I peek into my crystal ball, and I see ++Rowan Williams swimming the Tiber upon retirement, and becoming Mr. Williams, Roman Catholic lay person.

I don't buy it. I don't think even the ABC is that disfunctional. How many times does he need to be ignored, belittled, and kicked in the teeth? I think even he sees it's an abusive relationship.

And, I think he really is committed to the CoE and the Anglican Communion. All of his feeble machinations really are an attempt to try to preserve them, as misguided and counterproductive those attempts may appear.; October 26, 2009 at 3:39 PM
